24-hour emergency electrician in Evergreen.

Lost power, a breaker that won't reset, a hot outlet or storm damage. Emergency calls are answered around the clock.

Call right away if

  • Part of the house lost power and the breaker won't reset
  • An outlet, switch or panel is warm, buzzing or scorched
  • Lights flicker or dim when something else turns on
  • A storm, a falling tree or water got into wiring or equipment
  • A hot tub, well pump or furnace lost power in the cold

Before the crew gets there

If you see smoke or flames, or smell something burning that you can't find, get out and call 911 first. If the whole street is dark, call your utility; that's their line, not your wiring. If it's just your house or one part of it, call Total Electric.

Questions in the moment.

Straight answers to what people ask most. Anything else, call (303) 670-6561.

01

Do you really answer at night?

Yes. Emergency service runs 24 hours a day. Call (303) 670-6561.

02

Half my house lost power. What do I check first?

Look for a tripped breaker in the panel and for a tripped GFCI outlet in a kitchen, bath, garage or outside. If a breaker won't reset or trips again right away, leave it off and call.

03

My outlet is warm or smells hot. Is that an emergency?

Yes. Turn off that circuit's breaker if you can do it safely, keep things unplugged, and call. If there's smoke, call 911 first.

04

The whole neighborhood is dark. Can you help?

That's a utility outage. Call your utility. If your power doesn't come back when your neighbors' does, call Total Electric.
